These were close to Adler Planetarium either on Lake Shore drive or the road leading to the planetarium.

I believe the top one is a FCO M400A2. Note the shattered CMH lamp on the bottom.

Yep, the ones I saw on Lake Shore looked the same as these.

Any machine is a smoke machine if you operate it wrong enough.
