Duro-Test F36T10 Power-Twist Vitalite Fluorescent tube

An honorable presentation of Duro-Test F36T10 Power-twist vitalite fluorescent tube. Extremely nice tubes these are. I absolutely adore the Twist in the glass and I absolutely love the 5500k color temperature. I installed one of these tubes in my room growlight to see if these are really as good for plant growth as they were advertised to in the past when they were still making these.

Yup! it even says on the box that these tubes were made to compel the nature preservation laws in Europe, and that is the reason why these tubes have CE printed on them, witch means the item is made for EU market. Interesting how none of these tubes made it to the USA market itself, while it was made back there. Seems like F36T10 type was only made for EU, and USA was using F40T12. Weird.

New lighting technologies is a pity fest everywhere you look. From LEDs that last only for two months, to a never-ending global starvation of t8 fluorescent tubes.
We shall reinforce ourselves with good old full mercury t12s and HIDs made to surpass one's life, and give them all the middle finger ;

Wondering about the F36T10 rating? I just know F40T10, even here in Europe!

Anyhow, these Duro-Test fluorescents always catched my attention. Absolutely collectible-woth tubes!
