Was it originally 35w HPS?

Do you still have the Regent wall pack? What light source did the Regent wall pack use?

Don't be fooLED, T8 IS the worst thing to do to a magnetic T12 fixture.

Both fixtures are originally 35w HPS . Yes I still have the Regent, I'll post some pics of it soon when I get a chance. The original lamp from the regent is this: https://www.lighting-gallery.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=5201&pos=1&pid=160042

Very nice! Did this come with the twistlock PC socket or did you add it? If I find one of these dirt cheap I'll swipe it up, but otherwise I have to save my space for street lights.

Yes, this came with the twist-lock PC. These were available with the twist lock or a "swivel style" PC or no PC at all.

And keeps an eye on eBay as these show up for rather cheap occasionally . I saw once recently for approx $25 W/free shipping !

Hmm yeah I love lights with twistlock PCs. Plus this is compact enough where I can tuck it away somewhere. I'd probably convert mine to 50W MV or 70W MH if I ever got one.

I have another one on the detached garage below the Wide-Lite that I converted from 100w PSMH to 50w CMH with an electronic ballast and a Phillips 4K coated CMH lamp. The 50w is perfect for the area I wanted to light , and the coated lamp kills the glare and evens out the light levels on the ground.

Ah yeah I LOVE coated lamps in full cut-off lights. Doesn't get any more low-glare than that!

The Phillips 4K coated looks more like a fluorescent than a MH but I like it though.

Do you have a 50 watt mercury vapor ballast?

Yeah I have one in a homemade highbay. I'd just reballast the highbay.

What would you use for a ballast in the highbay? 70 watt MH without the ignitor and make the highbay 100 watt MV?

Haven't given it any thought, but 100W PSMH or 100W MV is probably the highest I'd go.

100w PSMH would be nice and bright. BTW if you ever decide to make any more I might be a potential customer.

I'd be happy to make one for you to install your own ballast into. IIRC it cost $40-50 to make it. Some minor assembly on your end might be needed so I can fit it into a smaller box (no need for the post office to get fat off it LOL).

Are you talking about the McCann Lighting mini high bay?
