Yes, there is quite a difference,I see the on yours the lamp holder tab is punched from the gear tray and bent down,on my Canadian version the lamp holder bracket is a separate piece bolted onto the gear tray.Also the gear tray on mine is hinged on the side sitting on the floor and held up by one screw on the top side.

The brighter the better.

GEC Z9464 90w SOX/LPS

I have both Australian and English versions of the GEC Z9464 for 90w SOX lamps. It's funny how there are a few regional differences between them. Most noticeable in the spigot bolt castings like in this pic .

Traffic signals & street lighting engineer. Please bring SOX/LPS back Downunder!!

It did have the original `brick` soi transformer in, but died.
This was on the brother in laws shed from September 1995, until June 2006, when I ran out of 35watt SOX, and fitted a modded Beta 5 with a SON-E, this is still in use.

Power provider: e.on energy
