How is that lower frame fastened to the stem and lead-in?
Was this construction used in production lamps?

Yes, it was used, successfuly, many lamps lights, but in form with phosphor.

Yes, Robert, Thanks. I`ve been really busy catalogueing the collection and I`ve had two P.C.'s "shut" themselves in quick sucession, so I.ve been off the net for six weeks, but still had to pay my I.S.P. bill each month!

I`m building up a few boxes of catalogued duplicate lamps I`d like to offer to L.G. members as swaps. I'll provide a list in the next few months.
