They like to get into your suitcases when your packing for a trip too.

Preheat and T-12 fluorescents forever! Down with LED's and instant start T-8 fluorescents.

I have a barn cat that also likes to come into my shop and BEG for attention. When I ignore her, she gets up on whatever I am working on. I was replacing a ballast in a "wraparound" fixture I am fixing up to sell and the cat jumped up on the work bench and sat in the fixture's ballast channel, right up against my hands the whole time!

Preheat Fluorescents forever!
I love diesel engines, rural/farm life and vintage lighting!

Yes, it was just sitting on the bench. I tossed the cat aside before hooking up the leads.

She is beautiful Stan. I like to scratch unter their chin - also tickle the bald patches on top of the head just forward of the ears. I bet she is very happy there with you. When I die I would like to return as one of your cats so I can get a close look at those 10,000 odd lamps.

The problem is as a cat I would not have opposible thumbs, so would be unable to screw any in and use them while you are out
