83 Watt Philips Floodlight

83 Watt Philips Floodlight

Here's an 83 watt Philips floodlight intended to replace a 120 watt incandescent floodlight. This bulb is bright enough to light up the whole driveway and side lawn. I tried it quickly in my work lamp before installing it in the floodlight and it was brilliantly bright (I needed my sunglasses.) It turns on instantly and the brightness will not be compromised by the cold December temperatures. It has been cold here in South Carolina lately. It can be used indoors or outdoors in an appropriately rated fixture. It's great quality and labeled to last for 4 years, which keeps me from having to climb the ladder for a while. Other than bulbs made in USA, I've found the ones made in Poland to be the best quality, with long life and good build quality. I have another view of this bulb with the etch in this album.

What an Unusual PAR-38....never seen one like it before!

Manufactured articles should be made to be used, not made to be sold!

Not much beats the old school, pre EPACT 150w PAR38s.
