In a local white castle parking lot. I think they are 100w mercury with /DX lamps. They appear much brighter than the 150w HPS cobraheads, though. The seagulls just LOVE these fixtures...

This looks like it is an ITT model 113 or 400.
I lean towards the former, as the 400 is designed for 400w lamps, and of this is 100, the optics would be screwed up.

This is an ITT or AEL 25. It is only made in 250-400 watts MV and 200-400 watts HPS. the 125 has replaced this fixture so it's no longer made or sold now.

I have some new news: the building appears to be closed and I am seeing some construction machinery near it. I will try to find out if it will be demolished and if it will I will try and save these. They are mounted VERY low and you could probably just use a stepladder to get to them. I will try to save them but I need to know if anyone here would be interested in purchasing some (I would give them out free but they would need to pay shipping) since I have no room for 12 of these.

Nice old streetlights. Deff worth saving a couple if you can!

I might be interested in one depending on cost, & if they're 120v

Colored Fluorescent's such as F40T12 Red or  Green or Blue are awesome...

Ok. Shipping would be $10-20 probably and if I offer money to whoever owns this place for them it would not cost anyone else any money. That is if it is even going to be demolished in the first place or if it is just vacant. They shut off power to the lights a few nights ago (haven't seen them on since).

Of course this is assuming that I will even be successful and there will be no liability issues involved. However, it is not owned by the city, and these are very low (like 8-10 feet high) so the only tools you would need would be a wrench, wire cutter, and stepladder.

New news:
It is not going to be demolished. They are remodeling it and redoing the parking lot. These probably will be replaced with LEDs so I will definitely try and get them.

What kind of socket? These don't have photocell sockets, but I could get you some lamps and a refractor since I might convert the one I keep to 175w metal halide with FCO cover (if I can find or make one).

Alright, they are digging up the parking lot now. The lights are still standing, and tomorrow I will try to ask about getting them. They probably would just lower the poles and leave the lights on, so what kind of wrench would I need to remove them if I am successful?

Price would probably be $5-10 each. Shipping probably $20. If they don't have 120v ballasts they will be cheaper.

Use a socket wrench with a ratchet. I don't know the size of bolt, but bring a ratchet and sockets around 5/8".

With that price/shipping range I'd be interested in 1 (but only if 120v)

Lights are still up. Havent seen anyone to ask but unfortunately I think one got hit by a backhoe since the refractor is missing and something is hanging out of it (looks like a wire). I am starting to wonder if maybe they are going to keep these up since they have been putting new signs on the poles. However, they will probably just install some new LED flyswatters on the poles, so I will keep trying to get them.

Put a bunch of "No LED!" papers around, and put sticky notes on it that say "Keep".

Update: Still up! I wonder if maybe they will just keep them? Seems bizarre that they would still use an "obsolete" light source but you never know...

They stayed up and have been reconnected. The one still has a broken refractor though.
