This Phillips Master 20w CDM is about 2 minutes into warm up. It was much brighter than I expected.

I think these are usually used in things like track lighting. The seller I got the ballast from said that they were removed from unused fixtures. I installed the ballast in a mini wallpack and plan to soon install a g12 lampholder and lamp.

@Solanaceae
The ReStore I got this at actually had a large box of these, $1 a lamp. I only got one, thinking I would never be able to find an afforable ballast for them, but I did, and now I regret it.

COOL!!Now I see the lamp lit!!NICE!!!Would think besides track lights-this lamp could be used in portable lights!!Sadly the Restore place near me just has "yard sale" type stuff--no interesting lighting equipment!

I about 6 cases of these 20 watts CDMT. I bought from Restore while back. Yes. These are used mostly in track lighting. Get by these now while u can cause Belgium hid plant is closing and LED is killing these off quickly.

No LED gadgets, spins too slowly.  Gotta  love preheat and MV. let the lights keep my meter spinning.

This lamp is for shop lighting either track spotlights or downlighters. I've seen it a lot of time in malls and shops. This lamp requires an electronic ballast with an arctube thermal control, to have a stable light and efficiency.
The world's smallest MH lamp is this lamp .

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.

That's an small one, it's wise to grab more while you can. There has been some stuff I wish I gotten in the past while the getting is good even though cash may be tight.

Long live the great old 20th century quality in electrical & lighting products!

It's the smallest ceramic one. Elmer Fridrich made a 3w lamp, but even that has very long feedthroughs.

I don't have the lamp right now, but when I do I will write it on here. It actually has 2 etches- one side has the brand on it and the other has lamp wattage and cri on it.

Yes they are very bright. My Powerball EL self-ballasted lamp is rated for 1220 lumens and this should put out about the same.
