Sylvania's new metalarc lamps burn much cooler than the older USA made ones, one group relamping job I did we were down to our last case of USA metalarcs, and used a half case of the new version mixed in with the old, and boy was the color difference obvious, so much so that it looked as though we used two different brands...pretty sad as Max said
