Battle of the Phillips vhos

I don't see the difference in light intensity and slight color difference this is in my cold garage and the econowatt has no problem keeping up with the 215 watt unlike pgs, HO, slimlines and f34s. No staration or struggle. Is 185 watt a conspiracy?

It's going too because it's full wattage and a ultralume, but how long is it going too last?

T12/ t17 there's a reason they made heavy magnetic ballasts

185watt?? So that's basically the energy saver VHO? If so, I did not know those even existed. This is another
kind of fluorescent lamp I never really thought to look for.

Interests:
1. Motorcycles, cars, Women, and Lighting (especially fluorescent)
2. Weightlifting/staying extremely athletic
3. Severe Thunderstorms of all kinds
4. Food and drinks. So gimme them bbq ribs
Lighting has ALWAYS been a passion of mine. I consider everyone on here to be a friend

Well, it depends. Time could tell. But if there is endblackening, then it has very little life left before it goes EOL. I know the Holland made Altos, last a very long time. I haven't tried it but I will get one of the Phillips Altos to see. I may have to do an experiment on it soon to see.

Somewhere in my insane amount of junk, I have some 185 watt "energy saver" F96T12/VHOs.

Preheat Fluorescents forever!
I love diesel engines, rural/farm life and vintage lighting!

I got almost a full case of these 185 watt econo watts. Then I have a full case of 195watt supersavers with elongated stems on both sides (80s etch). The 195 watt are dimer than the 185 watt for some reason. I think it's the phosphorus

The bottom one is actually October 2003. See that mercury symbol?

Good quality things are awesome. Cheaply made things are not.

Man every time I look at this picture, it's a reminder to me that I really have to step my game up in terms
of fluorescent lighting. I have to start making plans on finally owning HO and VHO fixtures.

1. Motorcycles, cars, Women, and Lighting (especially fluorescent)
2. Weightlifting/staying extremely athletic
3. Severe Thunderstorms of all kinds
4. Food and drinks. So gimme them bbq ribs
