Urggggggh, Rip my hair out in sheer frustration, Glasgow Kiss the nerest chimney, a bloody Philips MHN-T 70, the rarer one with the white PG22 cap too... UrggggggggggggggH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saw one of these on Yersin market in Saigon, the more common metal shell capped variety. It was heavily used but I wanted it as a "mate" for my SDW-Ts, the Girlfriend/Wife talked me out of it and a Narva Woods Glass UV, HWL 125v "copy". I've been "kicking my own bum" ever since, Urghhhhhhhhhhhh.

Manufactured articles should be made to be used, not made to be sold!

I just gone thorugh my old lamp invoices, I bought 2 of these on the 28th of Jan 1994, from electrical wholesale T N Robinsons LTD.
The invoice reads,...
SPECIAL 70 MHN-T SINGLE END, *This product has been discontinued*

So could these 2 have been some of the last batch I wonder?, I have the one in the photo next to me now, but I`m trying to remember what I did with the other one?, I`m sure I still have it.

I'd love to swap the dupe with something of approx equal value if you can find it and you agree, even if it is E.O.L.!

If you find it, that's good, but don't bust your foo foo, I have waited a very long time for some lamps....
I have this phgilosophy that you only ever get a single chance in a lifetime at acquiring rare lamps such as this...

Here is another I "kick my own bum" for...

And I have to be halucinating to think I was holding this...

In my hands! Stan really knows how to pull a rabbit out of his hat everytime!!!
