This is what happens when the big-ball-of-rock in the sky blocks the big metal halide lamp. When it goes completely dark and it gets cold, it is actually kind of scary. It's not like night, if you look at the sky it's still blue. It just looks like the sun went out.

The sun isn't really a gas discharge lightsource, but a nuclear fusion lightsource. And its CCT is 5500K. The sun age is 4.567B years, and it will continue to burn more billions of years, until it would increase in dimensions and reduce its CCT to become a red giant, than the outer envelope would be blown away and would become a Planetary Nebula, and all that would remain, is a white drawf, that cools down and dims.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.

I see EOL sodium lights with nothing more than a faint white glow inside the lamp kinda like a white dwarf star after EOL
