Here's a burnt out Philips T8 tube from the fluorescent light over my desk at work. Most of the office is lit by these Philips Altos. This one burnt out last week and I got a quick picture when our maintenance guy came up and replaced it. It lasted a long time, about 4 years.

I have the same lamp but brand new.

Old lighting is, and will always be, the best lighting.
