Got these at Walmart for the laundry fixture. Comes in a two pack, so if the other one goes out, I have a spare. Not sure how good these are. After installing it, first turned on, it had striations but that quickly goes away when it warms up.

These CW C lamps are a variant of CWX. So they're not bad if you don't mind them being a bit dim. The 700 series used to be marketed as value lamps, but these took their place after the former were phased by regulations.

What the heck is that other lamp though? I noticed end blackening is farther from the end than normal, as if it's cathode
structure protrudes further out than the typical T8 lamp

A unknown tube. It was installed by the previous electrician, before the house was ready to live in.

Is it one of those unknown tubes made in China??? If so, that's rare. I'm use to seeing those in the form of F15T8's
