The glare from those Greenstar Avenger Series is really bad! The intersection used to have GE M400s, but they're gone, since the changeout to LED.

The glare from oncoming vehicles looks far worse. I think headlight glare is a much bigger issue. If you don't stare at the streetlights as you drive under them at night, the glare isn't an issue.

Yeah.

The headlight thing is worse, think on a two way road, it's really bad if some drivers didn't know that their high beams are on. It's annoying!

Save the Cooper OVWs!! Don't them down by crap LED fixtures!!!

Yeah vehicles nowadays have very painfully glary headlights. Not sure if that's always been the case with older cars and trucks as well, but newer ones (especially LED headlights) are so bad I have to look off the right side of the road until the car passes. IMO, that can be a dangerous situation! I've honestly never had an issue with LED street light glare unless I'm purposely looking at the fixtures. I think a MH lamp is comparable in glare to an LED.

The GE Evolves they put up in my area have pretty bad glare from the side. It's tolerable from the 100w and 150w equivalent ones, but the 250w equivalents are bright enough you have to kind of squint.

Any machine is a smoke machine if you operate it wrong enough.

The higher wattage ael autobahns (round ones) with the triple cluster of LEDs are a little glary from a certain angle but not irritatingly so. If it was one single led chip instead of the output being shared by 3, it would probably be worse.

Those cheap 10 dollar Ebay flood lights are actually painfully glary though. The 30w one I installed on my great aunt's house lighting the driveway is blinding from any point it can be seen lol. I'm surprised its lasted dusk to dawn since June 2018!
