It's a black light. Isn't emitting UV what it's supposed to do?

It's not the dangerous kind of UV.

Any machine is a smoke machine if you operate it wrong enough.

LED black lights are disgusting... They're something you'll never find me using. They're useless as far as I'm concerned

I have LED BLs. They emit way too much visible purple light. My fluorescent blacklights perform much better, the CFLs blow away the LEDs, and the linears blow away the CFLs!

AT the skating rink my son likes, they use LED BLs, same issue I have with mine, too much visible purple light.

A few years ago I made myself a set of LED BlackLight Christmas lights. They didn't really make fluorescent-colored things "glow" the way a fluorescent blacklight does, and over time they also really dimmed down from the original. If these tubes are even remotely similar to those lights I made...I'd way rather have a real blacklight (ie: fluorescent)

Full-size the image, and read the final bit of text on the package...It basically says that, just in different words

I'd sure hope a black light would emit UV like crazy!
