Picture taken yesterday.

There are two wall packs one is a Cooper and the other one is a Lithonia, and they also have a 1000W Cooper Spotlighter for $48, no reflector though. All three of them are metal halide.

Cool! I haven't ever seen any HID fixtures at my Habitat.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

I'd consider the WP's if they were in good shape...the sports-lighter is virtually useless without the optics, unless you need a 1000W replacement ballast.

Formerly known as WestinghouseCeramalux.

Westinghouse Lifeguard Disease...it's nothing to fear...one can treat it by buying more! :poof:
Personally, I've been dealing with it since age 5, and I'm still alive and healthy!

The wall packs were in good shape over there, in fact, I actually brought one. I'll have pics later. And it needs a bulb, because it didn't came with one.

Cool! I found a 175 watt metal hailde flood light and a 50 watt HPS tallpack there as well.

Some of the bigger reflectors sold for LED lamp use (meant as a highbay substitute using a socket with screw in lamp) are actually the very same ones that go on proper HID highbays and floodlights

The Cooper wallpack is probably good quality, but depending how old the Lithonia one is, it's probably junk. Lithonia is Acuity's "cheap" brand.

Please check out my newly-updated website! McCann Lighting Company is where my street light collection is displayed in detail.

Oddly enough, I've seen some Cooper LED wallpacks in the exact same housing. Yeah I find Lithonia HID fixtures tend to be lower end and use off brand ballasts. Their fluorescent stuff varies, the stuff sold at HD is usually lower end but the special order products like the heavy duty strips and turrets seem to be pretty decent.

Interesting selection. I’ve never actually seen that many wallpacks at Restore.

If they were a little cheaper, then it would probably be worth it to get one in its original box.

Yeah sometimes when 1000w things show up, I wonder where they get them (except grow lights, I think it's quite obvious where they come from). One of the ReStores I went to in 2017 had a bunch of 1000w HPS white shoeboxes for $50!

Good quality things are awesome. Cheaply made things are not.

Yeah, I understand that. My parents have weird size restrictions as well, but for fixtures only, Thankfully I don’t have a limit to how many BT-56 lamps I can fit in my space! (except for the cost of them of course.)

That would be awesome if you could get that! Right now I’m mainly only collecting MV lamps, because I’m trying to reach my goal of one 700w from every major manufacturer of lamps. That will probably take a few years lol.

I’m pretty sure that Philips made a European ED shaped 700w lamp, but never a US version. Right now I’m still looking for a Westinghouse Lifeguard version. I have GE, Ken-Rad, and I just found a Sylvania one yesterday! Hopefully you can actually get that M-1000.

I was surprised to see a stretch of 700w MV GE M-1000s on the I-10 in LA, ALL had glareshields, all had CLEAR lamps, not a SINGLE one was out! They were all on double guy poles. It was beautiful! They got replaced with GE LEDs in 2017.

Wow, that must have been really beautiful to see 700w MV on a street there! That’s sad that LED was put up.
The last time I went to LA, I saw one M-1000 on the I-405, but unfortunately it had a dead lamp.

Highly unlikely, unless I contact the district to save it for me. It will stay until it burns out, which hopefully it has a Westinghouse Lifeguard and it won't lol.

Personally I will think of going back to a Restore after mask orders are lifted and large gatherings are permissible.

Say NO to ballast and bulb bans. MV, MH, HPS, and SOX forever!!!! Magnetic preheat fluorescent forever!!!!!

Desire to collect various light bulbs (especially HID), ballasts, and fixtures from around the world.
