25 yr Dayburner !

25 yr Dayburner !

Click to view full size image

This NEMA (or what's left of it !) has been missing it's bucket and dayburning for as long as I've seen it ! (25 yrs) I don't know if the lamp is the same, (i'd assume it is ) it's dim and kinda green.

Didn't realize until I zoomed the photo, It's an old Westy fixture !

Wow, if that is the same lamp, it's done well..! Glad it's not me paying the electricity bill though, it must have racked up some charges in 25 years

It'll be all right in the end, and if it isn't all right, it isn't the end Love

I'm amazed it's still there and still works ! Since it points toward the road I'd assume it's city owned but who knows?! Judging by how rotten the pole top is it's probably been there for at least 50 yrs !

That’s amazing if it really is the same lamp! I thought they would have changed the PC by now though.

I like all kinds of lighting and electrical, especially HIDs and street lights!

I'd assume its the same lamp as AEP (the local utility) doesn't service MV and hasn't in over 10yrs so if someone calls on this oldie it will wind up in the dump !!!

Well I hope no one reports it, because it’s better to have a nice MV fixture dayburning and dimmed out than trashed!

I'm shocked that it hasn't fallen off the pole with how rotten the top is !
