The round lights were used for lighting the track and the square ones were for lighting the pits, grounds and part of the parking lot. the bulbs were a mixture of GE and Phillips and appeared to have decent hours on them.

I was told that the old lights are "already spoken for" What ever that means !

Wouldn't be surprised if someone wants them for a grow op or something...

I just hope the person who claimed the lights know their true value and is not a metal scrapper.

Find out who’s getting them and see if a You can work out a deal ,

Spoken for usually means - When someone is interested in something You have saying- If You ever decide to sell or dispose of something I would be interested,

If You’re interested in any of these then find out who got them and see if You can strike a deal,

Personally I don’t see anything on that trailer that’s vintage or rare enough to persue,

There’s a lot more cool stuff out there with You’re name on it waiting for the day to become Youres,

I'd assume it's a scrapper since the ballast compartments of all the round floods have been broken off and the wires cut (zoom photo) I really have no use for them anyway. i'd have taken one of the square floods if they'd let me ! Either way, they were probably all 480v anyway.

No big loss - Although that 1 on the far left would have Ben nice to have,

Anyway- As I already mentioned There’s still a lot more cool lights out there that will find There way into You’re collection,
Believe me , It ain’t over Yet💡😎

There's 3 of those on the far left.

There are definitely a lot of other, much better lights I have my eyes on ! I'll probably still be bringing these things home when I'm old grey and senile !

They are nice, but mostly useless for residential use. I'd have neighbors banging on my door with lights like that, and a lot of them have to have a certain wire rated for high voltage/wattage and a temperature limit.

I collect exit signs, preferably vintage ones.

I also have a little bit of a thing for light bulbs, too. Of course, hoarding them due to the incandescent bulb ban.

Hence the reason they're still there and all I have are photos ! The neighbors don't seem to mind the 1000w MH Wide-Lite since it doesn't point toward any houses , just the field !

Yeah I got a HPS wallpack at Restore recently I planned to use on my garage as a driveway light and it is a lower wattage one, but I read the label and it says that the connected wiring must be rated for a so and so temprerature - which I am not sure mine is. I know its an enormously thick cabling as its a nightmare to try and form it into a hook to rewire a light socket.

You should Be OK my HPS wall pack says "use wire rated for at least 75 c " it was wired to standard 14-2 romex for 17 yrs with no problems. I just googled the temp rating of Romex and it's 90 c
