I've seen these before, the reflector assembly can be rotated up and down but the lamp , socket and ballast box stays stationary.

Odd, I’ve never seen those before.

I like all kinds of lighting and electrical, except LED.
- Vintage and rare lamp collector
- HID and incandescent lamp collector
Power company: SCE (Southern California Edison) 120V, 60HZ

Proudy suffering from "Westinghouse Lifeguard Disease" since 1977! LOL
There's no known cure for Westinghouse Lifeguard disease, so the only way to treat it is to find more!!! LOL LOL LOL

Thanks for the link. I have seen these sheils used before on other schools before. They could be used for some sorta glare reduction or vandal proofing im not sure though.

Yep, installed for vandalism. They're more like vandal resistant, than vandal proof.
