This fixture is located in a car lot that closed down. Although you cant see in the picture there was a chunk missing from the lens and you could see the bulb had been removed from this fixture. I have no idea who made this or what bulb it took

Powerlite B2217 I believe.

Good quality things are awesome. Cheaply made things are not.

Close, this looks like a B2218, the 1kW version of that series Powerlite cobraheads. Huge fixture too, I believe they're close to 4 feet long.

These are awesome lights. Would be a treat to find one or two in the new england area. No such luck though.

It would. Are there many collectors in Canada that you know of?

I know of a handful. Dont know of any having an old Powerlite like this though. I'm fortunate enough to have an R37. I fully restored it since it was in rough shape. From 1988 but was painted silver, making it look vintage.

Yeah as far as I know the only member who has one is the one who posted about finding a replacement refractor for a B2218. I believe no one has the other cobraheads from this series either.

Someone has a Powerlite clamshell and I have two gumballs though.
