The nice thing about these lights is that you can't remove the refractor door, so it won't ever fall off.

Hmm. My door on my split door M-400 won't come off no matter what you do. Maybe the later productions of the M-400 split door and M-400A allowed the refractor door to come off. Mine is from 1973.
