I never had a mercury lamp like this one before but it's neat for sure. It's well used, it works but won't fire up on a ballast alone, if I use it on a 100 watt Metal Halide ballast with an ignitor it starts up and runs fine but it's very dim. Inside the lamp appears to be fully phosphor coated, including the silver part
