Yes, the city where I took that picture mainly installs them with CFL.
Only saw three with HPS on a main road.
To my opinion it is the best way of lighting in residental streets.
Donīt like the yellow light of HPS there...

I just start to dislike CFL. Here in NL almost all residential streets have CFLs or CMH and i grew up with the mix of lightsources in such areas. HPS/MV/SOX and Fluorescent. It becomes boring with only white light.

You are funny! Here was everywhere MV/flourescent tubes and later HPS and now everywhere HPS (SON-T) and some CFL. In the past was HPS where I grew up nowhere, now is everywhere this x x orange light.

I grew up that no light source was dominant (Only LPS was dominant on motorways and was jealous of France with use also MV and HPS on motorways). Now almost turns into HPS on motorways what i start to dislike.

Yes Hamburg, when i was there in 2006 i was surpriced by the Autobahn was lighted. In the Netherland almost all motorways are lighted in the west and south part of the country in the north and east part only around cities.
You can drive from Amsterdam (NL) to Lille (France) complete lighted on the motorway.

For me, the orange light is typical of the netherlands, because when I was a child, I could only see orange light in the netherlands (and quite much there).
In my hometown, it was hard to find 20 years ago, fluoros and MV were standard, but it has changed today.
