Really nice find!! The "3" is from the fourth quarter of 1965 and the "3Plus" is from the fourth quarter of 1969. The "3Plus" replaced the "3"in 1966 and the Mainlighter replaced the "3Plus" in 1969.

Preheat and T-12 fluorescents forever! Down with LED's and instant start T-8 fluorescents.

Nice lamps. I had 1 of these years ago and not knowing its age, I let go EOL . BTW, when did GE drop the Mainlighter name?

I think GE started to drop the 'Mainlighter' name sometime in the early-mid 80's for the U.S. Canada went longer, I believe.

Yeah, as far as I know, GE used the Mainlighter name in Canada until 1995 when the EPACT regulations banned full wattage cool white lamps. They even made a modern style etch with the Mainlighter name for the Canadian market.
