Nice! These "Chinese hat" post lights were pretty common in the 60s and 70s I think, especially given the metallic color. Glad you saved them! Any plans for installation?

I never seen these either! The ones here are either the GE P-16/17 or American Electric Contempo.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

Very nice find! These would make very unique yard lights, particularly on either side of a driveway entrance or maybe on either side of stairs to a house. I believe these are Steber Parkmasters - at least they look just like ones in a parking lot near me that still are in use and have nameplates on the outside that say Steber.

I am replacing the ballast one of them is failing the other is the original to fixture it is from 1972 it is made by advance transformer co it still works so I just retired it. And I am going to replace it as well so I can save it.

What's wrong with the ballast? If the lamp runs dim the capacitor is at fault, if there is one.
