Amazing, is that the black colour packaging? I have some older European 220V GE dichro-color types, also with the old logo. The packaging of those is mainly black, but I am not sure exactly when they are from, USA boxes often look deceptively much older than they really are.

That’s quite a rare lamp, awesome find!

I like all kinds of lighting and electrical, except for LED, which I classify as a disease.

Box is black and yellow English only and specific to the yellow color lamp with the pre-1987 logo on it marked "NEW!", as opposed to the red, green, and blue which are in white bilingual boxes with the post 199 where the color was marked off. At some point I'll rig up my photography lights and backdrop and take a picture of them and some other stuff.

I found a place that sells a lot of oddball light bulbs that actually had the yellow ones listed as in stock. It was rather expensive coming in at something like $80 with tax and shipping. I half expected them being in stock as a mistake on their part and them cancelling the order but they sent it without comment.

Amazon has seller with the reds and greens in stock. I bought the blue from someone on eBay.

I do so want some of these, trouble is the only ones I can find are in the US and I just can't afford the extortionate shipping and customs charges

As an update I emailed a place that claimed to have amber in stock. Turns out they did not. They offered to check with some other lighting distributors but I don't want to make them do that for just a single lamp sale, or maybe to find out they'd only sell a case, so I'm calling this one a dead end.
