here are some Sylvania urban street lights in my town. I don't know if these are day burning or just came on or a mix of both, I will go back there at some point to find out.

80 watt mercury vapor must not light up much lol. It's odd how they mount the streetlights to the crossarms.

those bulbs are old . they are brighter at night, and new bulbs are much brighter. i will soon post a photo of a brand new bulb next too a bulb that has been in use since 2005. (yes there is an install like that) . also most lights are mounted like this in WA.
