Very cool, I agree with Chrislights about May 1988. Looks NOS, 5 stars from me.

Keep government out of the lighting industry.

Nice tube indeed! I didn't know that Philips also made such endcaps because the Philips TL 215W/33 we got sourced from the US here in Europe and Switzerland were always having metal caps.

Very nice! I need to find some spare VHO tubes, as I just hung four 2x96VHO fixtures in my shop addition.

Preheat Fluorescents forever!
I love diesel engines, rural/farm life and vintage lighting!

Nice lamp! Brings back memories with this bulb! I haven't seen any orange endcaps in a LONG time! My mom's workplace must of had 500 of those bulbs but they were the Westinghouse SHO! Too bad the building got partailly demolished. Bulbs are still there but the property manager won't let me have them.

Love dresses, make-up and just crazy about fluorescent lighting!!  Keep those T12's and magnetic ballasts alive!!

Thanks! That's unfortunate that the property manager wouldn't let you have some.

I have some of those in 6 foots Westinghouse and 4 foot Philips

No LED gadgets, spins too slowly.  Gotta  love preheat and MV. let the lights keep my meter spinning.
