Eaglelux 4-way with Seattle 4 Way Stop light box

I saved this from the recycle bin years ago. Took me about 6 years to get around to restoring it, but it is 100% restored. New die-cut cork gaskets, new door seals, original thumbscrew type Bakelite terminal block, new cloth wiring and ceramic sockets, original glass reflector, semaphore lenses and cast visors make this signal pretty special to me. I even gave it it's own 2 pole electrical circuit when I remodeled the man cave it resides in. The light box contains 4 replica vintage style squirrel cage type incans. I have wired the red lamps (67 watt TS) in series to cut down on the glare.

This type of signal was widely used in Seattle and they weren't removed en-masse until the early 90's. It is about 80-90 years old AFAIK.

Yes, it is very heavy. I basically assembled it on the hook.

But I'm really curious to see what those pictures on the wall behind it are...
What is this in an art gallery or something??

Colored Fluorescent's such as F40T12 Red or  Green or Blue are awesome...

Those pics are framed blueprints of interesting (to me) technical items. And the pic on the right is actually a map of Arizona, my home state.

I remember these! Looks like you did a great restoration on this one. I work in Seattle....would be cool if we could meet up sometime. I don't have any traffic signals but have a fair collection of vintage street lights used in Seattle, although most of the fixtures actually came from other cities or states.

I'm lampin...
