Why I like LEDs on top of other lighting tech?
LEDs = Upgrade 95% of the applications. (That is if you avoid eBay's LEDs).

LED brainwash? No, people uses them cuz they work well for them.

Thank you all for your nice comments and your welcome. I've got about 13 SL*'s but of course I also collect all other kind of lamps. As my hobby is also photography, it makes fun to take pictures of them. These two hobbies fit perfect together.

Hey my hobby is also photography, you can tell by looking at my night shots and stuff....also I had history of hobby of working with computers and knowing a bit of HTML and stuff, so that's why I was asked if I could be an admin...

I love the SL*18s. My brother had several of the first generation ones back in the 80s. I remember him having them (only barely). I have several of the 2nd generation electronic ones.

I still think there the best CFLs you can get but a little Heavy.
