Here I picked up at my local Walmart Supercenter at Johnson Ferry Road, East Cobb, Marietta, GA, USA today (2015-6-18) for My Nightstand. This one set me back US$ 2.88 a package.

We used to go through 7W versions of these things like crazy. Then we started buying SATCO ones and they've lasted much longer. Unfortunately the wonderful reputation GE had for their lighting is badly tarnished by the crap they've been producing lately.

To resist is to piss in the wind, anyone who does will end up smelling.

I have 2 Chinese Philips F18T8 in use (halo CW and tri CW), they both got some blackening at both ends in less than a month
They are used in a twin tube 2ft preheat fitting with Philips S10 ecoclick starters

No more cheapy crappy Chinese junk, please.
