Interesting! Do they also have a 34w or F96T12?

WalMart doesn't sell any 8ft lamps here. I noticed the GV T8s but haven't seen any T12s. I'll have to look closer.

Interesting. They used to make a 34W GV lamp about ten years ago. They were also made by GE.

Preheat and T-12 fluorescents forever! Down with LED's and instant start T-8 fluorescents.

I wonder if it's a full 40w and whether or not it can be used in a preheat fixture?

Really? They never sold them here. Those Great Value lamps are a new thing around here.

If it says 40w then I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be a full power lamp.

I like my lamps thick, my ballasts heavy, and my fixtures tough.

I remember seeing Great Value CFLs in the local Wal Mart around ten years ago. This around the same time they stopped selling Philips fluorescent lamps.

So they DID sell Philips lamps at some point? I thought I was just nuts lol. Must've been when I was a little kid. I've seen Sylvania incandescent lamps at WalMart too, back around 2012 or so, right around the time 100W lamps were banned.
