Looks like a group relamping. There's a blackender there where the flash obstructed the etch. It looks like a 60's Westinghouse etch.

Preheat and T-12 fluorescents forever! Down with LED's and instant start T-8 fluorescents.

I'd think the thermostat for the central AC has more mercury than all those tubes. I think the one in my house has two vials full of nice liquid metal.

Edit: I checked. It's one vial.

Why I like LEDs on top of other lighting tech?
LEDs = Upgrade 95% of the applications. (That is if you avoid eBay's LEDs).

LED brainwash? No, people uses them cuz they work well for them.

SWEET.

I like my lamps thick, my ballasts heavy, and my fixtures tough.

That's a very funny comment solanaceae! I delete there aggressive emails all the time. I bet a have a gallon of mercury between all my lamps this is great I'll never go through all these in my lifetime. Those lamps with the black Sox still work just flicker the whole time maybe eol soon. When I reorganized them I had two boxes of 30. I found a old nasty crumpled up Porno on the bottom of one of the boxes looks like someone tried to hide and the pages were stuck together (gross)

I know the "I have a lifetime supply of F40s" feeling all too well myself! I had a score (of warm white Moonlighters, mostly) a few years ago about this size that made so now I only buy or collect lamps because it's a hobby, I will never run out as it is. (And my house has F40 fixtures in most rooms).
