Lightolier 3ft Vanity Light With Diffuser

Lightolier 3ft Vanity Light With Diffuser

One of the few vanities here at CCRI with a diffuser. I assume it's original, as most replacement diffusers are made out of prismatic 12 troffer lenses (heated and bent to custom shapes). This one is white on the front with clear ribs on the bottom. Not sure about the top. You can see the one butted against it to the left has no diffuser and one dead lamp (one with the diffuser has two good lamps). All lamps are Sylvania F25T8 4100K.

Those things have certainly seen better days.

I like my lamps thick, my ballasts heavy, and my fixtures tough.

Definitely! These are original to the building from the 70s. My middle school was built in 1970 and had mostly original fixtures when I was there (but converted to T and they were pretty ratty too. Especially bathroom fixtures. Bathroom vanities seem to be open for abuse since they're low down and there's not heavy traffic into the bathrooms.
