At least it shows the description of the lights you found. Perhaps for using for the UV sensitive paper for exposing large print

Unless they were used for the now obsolete Kodachrome (K-14) process in which the film was required to be exposed to different wavelengths of light during processing, they were likely used for something else in the photography world. As far as I know, all negative films require total darkness to process otherwise there would be fogging. Maybe they were used in diazo machines to produce blueprints or some other similar process.

T12/ t17 there's a reason they made heavy magnetic ballasts
