Frying an EOL 175w metal halide lamp

Frying an EOL 175w metal halide lamp

I had this 175w metal halide lamp with a broken starting probe laying around. It didn't work, and so I fried it on a 250w metal halide ballast. It put up quite a show, and the ballast and igniter didn't seem to mind.

Serve as desired. :P

That's what I was thinking too. I was originally going to title the video "How to make a coated metal halide lamp" but decided this name would be better.
