No LED gadgets, spins too slowly.  Gotta  love preheat and MV. let the lights keep my meter spinning.

Indeed, never seen one like it before. Plenty of ordinary porcelain holders, of course, but not these.

yep these were also known as Toilet Bowl Lamp Holders, they are Ideal for use in fittings used in Damp areas to reduce electric shock form the metal cap of the lamp.
