F13DTT lamp at EOL - Lights only with Plasma globe around

Lamp is very much EOL. Not open cathode but it only blinks. It will only run when the Plasma Globe is around and if I take it away or turn it off the lamp goes out.

It rectifies at 60 hz but stays lit when Plasma Globe assisted

I think the plasma globe is helping ionize the gas and makes up for the lack of emitter on the electrode which isn't allowing for a steady discharge.

This is almost like my Walkie-Talkie idea. (Sounds weird I know) When I was a kid, I had a little 13 watt preheat
desk lamp. The lamp went EOL quickly, thanks to me switching it off and on profusely. I have no idea what made me do this,
but while the lamp was flashing, I put the antenna of one of my walkie talkies against the tube. While I pressed and held the button
on the walkie-talkie (with the tube against the antenna) the lamp fired up and stayed lit, flickering at 60hertz. If I
switched off the lamp while pressing the walkie talkie button, the area where the antenna was making contact with the tube remained lit.

PLs contains krypton, which have a higher starting voltage, so they don't rectifies at EOL like the T12 and short T5 do, but simply unable to start, so when you assisted them with plasma globes and radio antennas, the lamp struck, but than I expects from the starter to try restriking the lamp anyway, so it would still flash on/off.
