One of the last of the proper Lifeguard mercury lamps made by Philips, this example having a deluxe white phosphor. As is typical of Lifeguard lamps, it has a very long and slender arc tube, and in this 75-watt version the ends have a reflective metal coating (possibly indium) to help concentrate heat in the arc. |
