Fluorescent lamp have end caps, but this one don't. Looks like a LED retrofit for linear incandescent lamps, if this isn't really a linear incandescent lamp.

Look up Osram seemless lumilux tube.

Osram Lumilux T5 Seamless, aren't manufactured in the US, and I don't think if Osram Sylvania makes something like this.

I"m don't speak english well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I hope that LED won't replace all forms of other light

I've seen these seamless T5's on CP lighting in the past. Its interesting to see how they look in an actual installation.
They remind me of the S14 cap Linear incandescent strip lights, that have a flat end of the tube, the same as these.

Osram do make an led retrofit tube to replace the t5 version,if this has a slight strobe it may be led.
The fact that this has rather crude wire securing the ends suggest that these are tubes and not a fitting.

Definitely isn't something I've ever seen before until today. Been on this site for almost 8 years, and this is the
first time I've seen this kind of fixture/lamp.
So what kind of ballasts typically run these? And, are they dependent on electrode filaments/cathodes like typical
fluorescent lamps? Or do they operate similar to light induction?

Interests
1. Motorcycles, Women, and Lighting (especially fluorescent)
2. Weighting/staying extremely athletic
3. Severe Thunderstorms of all kinds
4. Food and drinks. So gimme them bbq ribs
Yep
Lighting has been a passion of mine since I was born. I consider everyone on LG to be a friend

These are made like a PL-L compact fluorescent : about half an inch from each tube end there is a small glass bridge to another parallel T5 tube running behind this, which is just long enough to carry the electrode and a standard G5 cap pointing inwards. The concept was developed by Feelux Lighting in Korea I guess around 2004, and took a long time to become popular in the West. When that happened other big companies like Osram started sourcing from Feelux and re-brand it as their own.
