I'm actually looking for a bunch of 4x32w ballasts because I may be converting the office lighting from 4x40w to 4x32 because most are dead/dying and the 4x32w would be much brighter I'm thinking to install some Sylvania 3500k or 5000k lamps IF I get to do it. Thoughts?

Wow what a waste! Not only are these ballasts just a year old, but why not use direct wire LED tubes if the retrofit ones are not compatible with these ballasts? It's a double-waste. Not to mention just one more component that can fail. Eliminating the ballast eliminates a point of failure.

These are good ballasts. Out of all of the electronic ballasts out there, I've had the least amount of issues with these OSRAMs/Sylvanias. I still get one or two that go bad after a year, but no where near the number of Advance, GE, and Universals that do. Did you keep them? Going to sell them?

The more you hate the LED movement, the stronger it becomes.

@Dan the bulb man: how many are you looking for? I saved 10 so far but I can't save too many, pair these ballast with 28w Sylvania XL lamps or GE SXL and you've got a long lasting combo

@Ryan: yea some of our customers have them and I've literally never changed a ballast at some of those stores! Going on 10 years old at some, old advance ballasts (pre 05) were neck and neck with these Sylvania, GE (06 and up)isn't bad but yeah the rest is junk!
