Ahh. Fixtures like this look good with that strobe and the T12s

Is it a fixture you can plug in to the wall and it lights or hardwired. Or did you convert it to a plug n play fixture?

This is just a hard wire type fixture. its really just a striplight with a reflector instead of the usual channel cover. I use -this- for testing all of my fixtures. I just stick the leads of a ballast or socket into the terminal block and tighten the screws. Currently I'm refurbishing my white cable with the switch so I have the terminal block on another grounded plug

Ah, I really need to make something like that because when I test a fixture, I do it in the most unsafe way ever (by shoving bare wires into a power strip) Do not try this anyone who reads this

Yes you should make yourself one of these cords, its very handy to have and I bet you'd really get good use from one even more than I do. I recommend you do not shove them into the plug like that, not only is it dangerous as you know, but it can damage your lamps or ballasts, as a collector, the thought bugs me significantly, especially on pricier hard to get things like F32T8 magnetic ballasts

Looks like Sylvania endcaps? This is a lovely fixture too!

Magnetic ballasts and old school electronic only zone!  No T8 instant start
