The color rendering of these is indeed phenomenal, I once relamped a grocery store's produce area with these (previous lamps were standard 150w quartz MH), and the difference in light quality was astounding...the store actually saw a 10-15% rise in produce sales after the relamping

It will be underdriven on pulse-start ballast. It is intended for European HPS chokes. Try it with S56 ANSI ballast, which have the same current as the European HPS chokes.

No this Lamp will work as according to the my specs the M102 Pulse Start Metal halide Lamp operates at 95 volts by 1.8 amps the same as this Cera-Arc Lamp, the 150w HPS Lamp as used in Europe and the US LU150/100 (S56) HPS Lamp are also suitable to operate on the M102 Pulse Start Metal Halide Ballast/Ignitor too. the only difference is the lamp voltage is 5 volts higher, but the Current is the same at 1.8 amps.

If you look at the M107 Metal Halide Lamp this is a 150 watt Energy Saver Probe Start MH Lamp designed for M107 and is designed for use on a 175 watt Metal Halide Probe Start Ballast (ANSI-M57) Only.
