Ugh! I can already see a Cooper Verdeon there. Those things are ugly to look at!

Did they just so happen to use the same poles or were these originally electric company-owned lights that were bought out by the cities and then the cities installed their own LEDs?

Fontana made a contract with SCE (The electric company.) to install the lights. But I believe Rancho Cucamonga's lights are city-owned, execpt the ones on power poles.

Current: US 120v 60hz
Power provider: Southern California Edison (SCE)

Ah so the Evolves are utility-owned?

Yeah the GE Evolves don't live up to the "dinosaur" GE lights from the 60s, or even their 90s-present cobraheads, which were mediocre to start with. A fellow enthusiast and friend of mine who is a lineman in western MA said the ones he's service that failed typically had bad "stab-in" connections. They don't use those nice "Wago" connectors like virtually all the other major LED manufacturers like Cree, AEL, and Eaton (Cooper). Unsure what Leotek uses for connectors. None of them seem to use wirenuts. Cooper uses crimps for some of their connections in addition to the Wago connectors. I like the Wago connectors best since they are reusable but are very quick and convenient.
