Wow, lots of debris there. Usually metal poles bend after a single impact.

@lightinglover8902: The reason for the extra debris is because an electrical box right next to the pole (maybe you can see it) was also hit. Also this is a concrete pole.

Wow. I hope the electricity is shut off. Having exposed wires is dangerous, especially if its live!

It's still on of course for the other streetlights. Still isn't safe because they haven't covered up the exposed wires!

Several years ago I helped a friend replace a pole light in a parking lot that got rammed by a tractor trailer. It took several days as a whole new concrete base had to be poured along with conduit, etc. We finally had it working at 2:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning.

That got demolished good
I have a pic (not uploaded here) of a streetlight pole that got hit & the entire concrete base ripped out of the ground!

Colored Fluorescent's such as F40T12 Red or  Green or Blue are awesome...

Update: They just recently put in the new light and pole. Light is a LED GE ERLH and the pole is an Ameron concrete pole. The pole has a shorter arm than the others. It also doesn't work at night.
