Here's the light that I've used at my soldering station for years. Bought it at a flea market (didn't build it myself). I was inspired to take a photo of it after seeing socketgeek63's similar designs.

Cool! That stand base a bit different being painted white, your stand looks even older! You can also clamp in certain flashlights especially the ones using 2 C cells in those tube clamps as well,.
