EYE Iwasaki NHT50-SDX HPS lamp. Got this lamp in a trade with James. Even though I can't really find any data in English for it, it's still a cool lamp!

It looks to have a very short arc tube. I wonder if it's designed for the US or EU market..? I'm sure my 50W lamps have larger arc tubes than that.

It'll be all right in the end, and if it isn't all right, it isn't the end  Smiley

Could be US...got this from James, and figured is was European market product.

Your mission - should you choose to accept it - is to save unique and rare HID lighting before it's all scrapped.

I found this http://www.lamptech.co.uk/Spec%20Sheets/D%20SHP%20Iwasaki%20SDX50.htm ,mine seem to work fairly well on a normal 50w hps ballast although maybe slightly under driven.

Looking at that page, the lamp there uses a dedicated electronic ballast.
