Picked up some of these at Home Depot for use as nightlights. My first S11 lamps to boot, always liked the shape!

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.

Looks kinda like an incandescent lamp with a vertical filament.

Power provider: Southern California Edison (SCE)

-Date decoder of some US lamps 1960-present.
-Switch and receptacle collector.
-I'll save any vintage lamp! Smiley

These are quite early ones, the company who produces Feit’s lamps has changed now to plastic outer bulbs to reduce risk of breakage in outdoor lights. As a result they can no longer be helium-filledand there is a small drop in efficacy + lifetime - but only for S11 outdoor 1W lamps.

Take a look inside the base - can you see the usual electronic driver? If not, this is the very first lamp of a new generation, in which a tiny driver measuring less than 1 square millimetre has been engineered into a quite complex IC that is mounted on the filament itself. As such these filaments can be run directly on the mains.

I think there's hardly anything in terms of a driver.
